Gangtok & Pelling Package 04 Nights 05 Days

Day – 01 - Arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) and Transfer to Pelling - Arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) - He will be assisting the transfer to Pelling - Approximately 140 kilometres or 5 ½ - 6 hours drive - Check in to the hotel - Pelling is at an altitude of 6800 feet / 2072 meters - On a clear day one can get a clear view of the Himalayan range with snow capped mt Pandim, Kumbhakarna, Rathong, Kanchenjunga, Zopuno, Shimbho, Narsing, Sinolchu etc. In the evening, one is free to stroll around this small settlement - It is an exotic settlement with varieties of Rhododendron, Orchids and wildlife - Check into the hotel - Guest can stroll around the helipad or Shopping centre - Overnight stay at Pelling.
 

Day - 02 - Pelling Local sightseeing - Early morning stroll around the area – Back to hotel have breakfast - Drive for Sight Seeing of Pelling and its surroundings - The routes are forested and the botanical and zoological richness is inspiring - Places of visit are Rimbi water Falls, Rimbi Rock Garden, Kechopalri Lake, which is one of the holy Buddhist lakes and it is believed that any wish in front of the lake comes true - The myth is that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface, it is picked by a bird and thus the water surface is always free of leaves - Kechopalri Monastery, Kanchenjunga water Falls, Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse ruins, the scenic view from the top of the ruin to the mystic heights of Kanchenjunga ranges are views to be cherished - Back to hotel - Evening free to roam around the helipad or Shopping center - Overnight stay at Pelling
 

Day - 03 - Transfer to Gangtok & Gangtok Local Sight Seeing - Early morning breakfast, transfer to Gangtok – It is nearly approximately 135 Kilometres and 3 ½ - 04 hours drive - Gangtok – The capital of the 22nd State of India, Sikkim, is one of the most beautiful hill stations with varied attractions for tourists – It is known for the monastery, Orchids, High altitude Lake, hot water spring, majestic Himalayan range and butterflies. Check into Hotel - Drive for visit to Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Research Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten (Stupa), Enchey Monastery, White Hall, Flower Show, etc - Back to hotel - Evening free to stroll around M G Road - Overnight stay at Gangtok

Day - 04 - Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir  – Early morning Breakfast - Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir – It is nearly 42 kilometres and a 02 hours drive along the Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary, the home to the red panda and the blood pheasant with Rhododendron and other alpine trees along the road. Situated at an elevation of 3753 meters / 12310 feet, the Lake is oval shaped and nearly 50 feet deep - Generally covered in snow for most of the year, this lake is home to the Brahmini ducks & many migratory birds - Nearby is the sacred Baba Mandir known to be a very holy site for all - Nathu La Pass to Republic of China is nearly 16 kilometres and is an optional tour– (Nathu La Pass visit has to be arranged the previous Night when Voters ID card will be asked for – Nathu La Pass once booked the amount is not refunded even if the trip get cancelled. Nathula Pass supplement of Rs.4,000/- has to be paid on the spot as it is not included in the final costing) - Back to Gangtok - Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping centre - Overnight stay at Gangtok
 

Day - 05 - Departure from Gangtok to Siliguri / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) - After breakfast transfer to Siliguri / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) - Nearly 135 kilometres or 4 ½ - 5 hours drive - The drive is through hills and with scenic beauty - Guest are advised to start early and not to rush – The drive will be along the River Teesta – A stop at Melli / Rangpo or Chitrey for refresment / Tea - Next and last stoppage if time permits is Coronation Bridge - Forwarding Journey

• Gangtok Half Day include Banzakhri Falls, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Flower show, Dro-dul Chorten & Institute of Tibetology. (Timing : 09.00 hrs to 13.00 hrs)
• Full Day include Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok & Hanuman Tok, Ranka Monastery, Banjakhri Falls, Cottage Industry, Dro-dul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, Flower show and Handicraft Centre. (Timing : 09.00 hrs to 17.00 hrs). Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir (Full day trip from 08.00a.m. to 03.00 p.m.)

• 2nd Half tour - Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, New Halipad Ground. (13.30 hrs to 17.00 hrs)

• 2nd Half tour - Changey Waterfalls, Dentam Valley, Singshore Bridge. Excursion to Yuksom for full day. In Yuksom you can visit Tashi Namgyel Stone & Dubdi Monastery by walking.
• Ravangla & Namchi full day tour - Temi Tea Garden, Samdruptse, Ralang Monastery, Borong Monastery & Chardham. In Pelling one has to go by walk for Rabdantse & Sangacholing monastery.
