Samdruptse / Ngadak & Ahalay Monastery -

This literally means wish fulfilling hill. This is home to the latest built 135 feet tall statue of Guru Padmasambhava. Guru Padmasambhava statue is perhaps the tallest statue in this region. 135 feet high is the tallest statue of statue of Guru Padmasambhava in the world. Located on a soaring hilltop nearly 7 ½ kilometres from the marketplace. This spot also offers some spectacular sights. One can also catch some fabulous sunrise and sunset upon this "wish-fulfilling hill" Rayong Sunrise View Point. Ngadak Monastery is nearly a couple of kilometres above Namchi and was constructed as a palace to Her Highness Pendi Ongmu. It ultimately has been converted to a monastery. It was damaged by an earthquake and is a testimony to the old religious culture of Sikkim. New Monastery is coming being built nearby. Ahalay Monastery is close to a kilometre from Namchi. A project started by the government of Sikkim is the Solophok Char Dham. It is based or modelled as per the famous replica of char Dham consisting of Gangotri, Yamnotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath. Situated nearly four kilometres near the Assangthang Helipad. This helipad is a viewpoint guest can enjoy from here. Situated nearly seven kilometres from Namchi. It is a picturesque spot to relax and enjoy nature. Another sightseeing spot is the Rock Garden constructed by the department of a forest. This garden is located about three kilometres above Namchi and is basically a recreation for children.
