Day - 01 - Arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / North Bengal Bus Terminus (Junction) / Siliguri Town and Transfer to Makaibari (Kurseong)

 

Our representative will assist you to reach Sourenee Tea Estate Bungalow - Distance of 60 kilometres i.e. 2 ½ - 3 hours drive – The drive will be towards Mirik – The Tea Estate is situated in the picturesque Mirik Valley of Darjeeling district in West Bengal, India – The name Sourenee is a combination of two words: “Sour” – a kind of tree that grows in this region having some medicinal value and “Rani” which indicates ‘Queen of the Valley’ - It covers an area of 137 hectares stretching in altitudes of between 700 meters to 1300 meters – These are the best tea estate with brilliant view of the surrounding valleys and mountains -   Well-furnished wooden bedrooms with picture windows and attached modern bathrooms are in the offer for the guest - The stay is one of the most fascinating bungalow of the region - Night stay at Sourenee

 

Day - 02 - Tea Factory and Tea Garden visit 

 

Early morning breakfast - Visit Factory to have an idea of Tea production – Darjeeling Tea can be enjoyed not just for its taste but because it is truly good - - Picture perfect in the true sense of the term, discover what's life in a tea estate is all about from dawn to dusk - It courses through your veins and helps you unwind …. Relax with a feeling of being, mystical, magical …. Visit to the four main section of Production unit i.e.  Withering – Fermentation – Drying – Sorting will be done for the guest - If possible one can participate in Tea Tasting in the same day - Back to room for lunch - Afternoon stroll around the area or Tea plantation – Evening free – One can visit the local staff or resident of the area or have some book from library and go through It – Night stay at Tea Estate Bungalow

 

 

Early morning breakfast - Visit Sumendhu Lake and one can go shopping at Pashupati Market in Nepal a hour’s drive from Sourenee - The picturesque Mirik Lake is only 5 Kilometres away and a must visit - Mirik is situated at an altitude of 1768 meters and the weather is pleasant here for most part of the year - The lake is around 1.25 kilometer long and is surrounded by chestnut, oak and maple trees. Boating and horse riding can be enjoyed here – One can go shopping at Pashupati market (In Nepal) just an hour’s drive - Back to room for lunch - Afternoon stroll around the area or Tea plantation – Evening free – One can visit the local staff or resident of the area or have some book from library and go through It – Night stay at Tea Estate Bungalow
