Day - 02 - Excursion to Cherrapunjee & back to Guwahati - Early Morning breakfast - Next drive to Cherrapujee - It is approximately 60 Kilometres i.e. 02 - 2½ hours drive by car - Currently the historical name Sohra is more commonly used is a subdivisional town in the East Khasi Hills in Meghalaya - It is credited as being the wettest place on Earth, although nearby Mawsynram currently holds that record - Cherrapunjee possesses some exotic waterfalls and impressive limestone caves - Nohkalikai Falls, 7 Sister Falls, Thangkharang Park and Mawsmai Cave which is one of the 100 odd limestone caves in Meghalaya - Later after lunch back to Shillong - On the way visit to Shillong Peak & Elephant Falls - Return to The Hotel / Resort - Drive back to Guwahati - It is approximately 100 kilometres in 2.5 hours drive - Night stay at Guwahati
Day - 03 - Guwahati Sightseeing & Transfer to Kaziranga National Park - Early Morning breakfast - Next sightseeing to Shankardeva kalakshetra, Science Museum, Basistha & Balaji Temple, etc - After lunch drive to Kaziranga - It is approximately 220 kilometres and is nearly 05 hours drive - Kaziranga National Park has been granted maximum protection under the Indian law for wildlife conservation - The sanctuary, which hosts two-thirds of the world's great one-horned rhinoceroses and is a World Heritage Site - Located on the edge of the Eastern Himalaya biodiversity hotspot, the park combines high species diversity and visibility - Wild life in park include elephants, Indian Bison, four species of deer, tiger, leopard, capped langur, wild boar, hoolock gibbon, hornbill, ibis, cormorant, egret, heron, fishing eagle and a host of migratory birds including Pelicans - Reach by evening and check into hotel / resort - Evening stroll around the local area - Overnight stay at Kaziranga
